With a technology called MuxCapacitor, Helix Semiconductors has taken a different approach to achieving greater energy efficiency. By using switched capacitors for power conversion and power transfer across a capacitive isolation gap, the new MxC300 chipset can replace traditional transformers that are bulky and less efficient.
