Helix Semiconductors has started sampling its first production chip using its MuxCapacitor voltage reduction technology. The 10W eMpower HS100 chipset enables end to end efficiency of over 90%, allowing devices to use under 5mW in standby mode. It is developing a 30W device on a smaller geometry and a 48V version.
